Poste Lafayette
Poste Lafayette is a lovely and peaceful resort situated on the east coast, 1 kilometre south of Roches Noires, and about 75 minutes drive from SSR International Airport. Its coastal road is free from heavy traffic and is perfect for cycling, jogging and pleasant walks. The temperature is pleasant all the year round. When the west coast is suffering from the heat in summer months (November to February), this area stays cool, although it could be fairly windy in winter.
Splendid view over the lagoon with turquoise waters where swimming and snorkelling are safe. Scuba diving, parasailing and wind surfing are very popular all year round, while deep sea fishing is restricted to the summer months only.
